CHED’s K to 12 Transition Program now hiring

In order to address the challenges of the K to 12 program, the Commission on Higher Education’s K to 12 Transition Program has opened more positions and is now hiring, posted Wednesday by the Philippines’ official gazette on its website.

The openings include policy planning, operations, program design, scholarships and grants management, communications, research, training and development, technology, administration and finance.

The K to 12 Transition Program works to address the upcoming challenges of the full K to 12 implementation on higher education by using this opportune time to invest in faculty and staff development.

The K to 12 Program covers Kindergarten and 12 years of basic education (six years of primary education, four years of Junior High School, and two years of Senior High School [SHS]) to provide sufficient time for mastery of concepts and skills, develop lifelong learners, and prepare graduates for tertiary education, middle-level skills development, employment, and entrepreneurship, according to the government website.
