Bumrungrad International Hospital meets Philippine Embassy officials

On February  1, 2017, the Head of Consular Section of the Philippine Embassy, Vice Consul Jim Minglana, officially welcomed a team of medical representatives from Bumrungrad International Hospital.

Bumrungrad International is a Joint Commission International accredited, multi-specialty hospital located in the heart of Bangkok, Thailand. Founded in 1980, it is one of the largest private hospitals in Southeast Asia, with 580 beds and over 30 specialty centres. Bumrungrad International offers state-of-the-art diagnostic, therapeutic and intensive care facilities in a one-stop medical centre.

Bumrungrad International serves 1.1 million patients annually, including over 520,000 international patients.

During the casual and informative meeting, Mr. Jim and the medical team from Bumrungrad, which consist of Dr. Eliseo Camagay Jr., Associate Medical Director International; Dr. Juvy Panes Magbanua, Coordination Physician; Mr. Bienvenido Jr. Abungan Casi, Senior Medical Support; Jeanette Tapia-Magro, Medical Support Coordinator; and Ganda Sihotang, Coordination Nurse discussed the need and importance of health awareness among the Filipino and local communities around Bangkok. Bumrungrad also offered a gift basket to the Philippines Embassy as warm gesture of courtesy.

Both parties showed strong sentiments on providing medical information and services to cater the needs of the Filipino people, not just in Bangkok but also to the greater community of Southeast Asia.
