Filipino AIT students win big in AIT Student Union Cultural Show

Filipino students from Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) bagged multiple awards in the AIT Student Union Cultural Show, held on February 10, at the AIT Auditorium, with the theme, “All About 20th Century”.

The AIT Filipino Student Association (AFSA) joined 5 out of 6 categories and had won the following:

Non-traditional Dance Competition – Winner
Duet Singing Competition – Winner
Drama Presentation – 2nd Runner up
Fashion Show – 2nd Runner Up
Mr. and Ms. AIT – 2nd Runner up

The Filipino students have been joining the said competitions yearly, and this time, they had been under the leadership of AFSA President Dominic Cagadas for the last 2 consecutive terms.

AIT, as of the moment, has 27 postgraduate students, taking various courses from masters and doctorate degree courses in the School of Engineering and Technology, School of Environment, Resources and Development and School of Management.
