Pillars of light seen in Sulu

Photos of “Pillars of Light” that appeared in the skies of Sulu went viral online as netizens capture images and shared them online.

According to several posts, netizens saw the pillars of light a few times already which usually appears once or twice a year with the latest one on Sunday, June 30, 2019 at around 7 p.m. which lasted for 20-30 minutes.

Tausugs call these lights as “lansuk-lansuk” which means candles. The appearance of these pillars of light may mean tragedy or good luck.
