The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) issued an announcement on 1 April 2020, ordering convenience stores in Bangkok to be closed from 00.00 to 05.00 hr.
Supermarkets, pharmacies, food takeaways and deliveries, banks and ATMs, and other essential services used in daily life remain open.
