Department of Foreign Affairs will suspend its passport operation on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 from 7:00 to 9:00 in the morning Bangkok Time.

In an advisory posted by the Philippine Embassy Bangkok on its Facebook page, the said suspension is due to the ePassport emergency upgrade. Capturing of passport application will resume right after the upgrade.

The system upgrade is a preventive measure to protect the ePassport system, the advisory ended.
