2020 holidays observed by Philippine Embassy in Bangkok

Here is the list of holidays observed by the Philippine Embassy in Bangkok for the year 2020. 

Philippine holidays are based on Presidential Proclamation No. 845 dated 15 Nov 2019. Thai holidays are based on information provided by the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

All details are taken from the Embassy website.

Regular Office Hours:

The Consular Section is OPEN from Monday to Friday, except on selected holidays (see “Holidays Observed by the Consular Section” below).

Regular working hours are from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Note: Clients are requested to come before 4:00 pm to allow time for proper processing of documents.

For clients with special needs such as persons with disabilities (PWD), senior citizens, pregnant women, or those with minors: Please call the attention of any of consular staff for priority assistance.

Schedule of Release of Documents:

Claiming of new passports, previously applied Philippine visas, and all documents submitted in previous working days: within the hour of submission of the Official Receipt at the releasing section, depending on the number of client volume.

Release of “Red Ribbon” documents (Special Power of Attorney or SPA, Affidavit, Acknowledgment, Authentication, etc), other documents (Reports of Birth, Marriage or Death; Embassy ID, NBI forms, other certifications, etc): from 12:00 noon onward, based on the queue number.

For those with emergency/urgent cases or for clients with special needs: Please call the attention of any of consular staff for appropriate assistance.

Schedule of Solemnization of Marriage at the Embassy: Every 3rd Thursday of the month and only for couples who are Filipino nationals.
