A bus carrying 23 Filipinos and other tourists were safe after their tour bus crashed in Chumphon early Monday morning, January 14. The bus was travelling from Bangkok to Phuket when the accident happened, according to The Thaiger online news.
Chumphon rescue workers were notified of the incident on Phetkasem Road, southbound at 4:30 am, the report added.
One Filipino tourist was taken to the hospital after the accident but the victim has already been discharged and is now okay, another source said.
