The 3rd Filipino Community Leaders’ Congress will be held in Bangkok on October 19-20, 2017 at Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University Sports Complex in Dusit, Bangkok.
High-ranking government officials such as Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Secretary Silvestre Belo, Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) Administrator Hans Leo Cacdac and other representatives from Philippine Overseas Employment Agency (POEA) and Department of Social Welfare Development (DSWD) are expected to come.
Giving of OFW ID, OWWA membership activation and dialogues with DOLE and OWWA leaders will take place during the two-day event. Other activities that will benefit overseas Filipino workers will also be tackled.
Registration for two days is only 300 baht which include food, snacks, ID and free consultation. A gala night will be held on October 19 for onlt 250 baht.
The program of activities was finalized in a meeting of FCLC Secretariat in Phitsanulok Province on August 14. Representatives from OFW QuickServANTS, Filipino Association in Isan Region (PINSAN), AFT Khonkaen, Association of Filipinos in Phitsanulok (P’lok Pinoyz), The Pinoy Legacy and PinoyThaiyo attended the meeting. Jezreel Llanera, PinoyThaiyo Co-founder serves as Marketing Officer of FCLC.
