Philippine Navy Wind Orchestra and Philippine Marine Corp Band in cooperation with the Filipino Community in Thailand will lead a concert for a cause for the victims of Marawi siege.
“Rebuilding Marawi Concert” will be held at Dianna Garden Resort, Pattaya on Saturday, November 18 from 6:00 to 10:00 pm. It is organized by Filipino Community leaders led by the Association of Fliipinos in Thailand (AFT) and other Filipino community groups from Bangkok, Pattaya, Rayong, Chantaburi and Trat.
Performers include Navy soldiers aboard BRP Tarlac which conducted missions to support soldiers who were battling in Marawi. They are now in Pattaya to participating in ASEAN Multilateral Naval Exercise organized by the Royal Thai Navy from November 15-22, 2017. The Philippines biggest navy ship, BRP Tarlac LD601 is also now in Sattahip Port.
Transportation will be provided for free by Royal Thai Navy, AFT and other sponsors. One bus from Rayong and Pattaya will pick up Filipinos to the venue (sponsored by Royal Thai Navy) while four vans from Bangkok to Pattaya and back will also be provided by AFT for free.
The proceeds will go to the victims of five-month violence in Marawi City. Registration is 100 THB. Donations are also welcome.
