Another Filipino restaurant is opening in Bangkok this weekend. “Balai Kubo” has poised resto to be a one stop pinoy “gimikan”. It also hopes to attract other expat communities.
Balai Kubo has a music bar, two private videoke rooms, sports bar and two rooftops for any kind of events.
Grand opening will be on September 8, Sunday at 4:00 PM. There is a buffet of Filipino food for only 149 baht. International cuisines will also be made available.

Balai Kubo is the Bisaya word for bahay kubo or nipa hut which is a type of stilt house indigenous to the culture of the Philippines.
