This is to inform affected passengers who are traveling from Bangkok to Manila that the flight on April 7 has been cancelled. The next scheduled flight on April 14 is still being evaluated by Philippine Airlines (PAL) head office in Manila. As per information provided by PAL Thailand, the flight cancellation is due to the lack of allocation for COVID-19 test in Manila.
PinoyThaiyo has already sent a letter to the Philippine Embassy in Bangkok to request for a possible intervention and to ask the Department of Health and other relevant Philippine Government agencies to allocate COVID-19 Test for Filipinos arriving from Thailand. Should it be approved, Filipinos flying from Manila to Bangkok, many of whom were scheduled to fly in March, will also be accommodated.
PAL Thailand is also “escalating the BKK flights cancellation case to the HQ management team to solve this issue and push for the possibility of confirming the date of flight out of BKK”.
The passengers are earnestly requested to standby for updates, and be ready for any possible flights should the situation improve. We will continue to provide updates on schedule of PAL flights, booking, rebooking and refunding tickets.

We apologize for this inconvenience. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Let’s all stay safe and healthy.
