A long time teacher and evangelist in Thailand, OFW Jimmy Carado has been going through a lot of health problems since June. He was first admitted from June 2 to July 8 due to severe pneumonia secondary to COVID-19 infection.
On August 16, he was again rushed to Ramathibodi Hospital in Bangkok after turning partially blind due to a systemic fungal infection.
“Mr. Jimmy Carado is going through multiple valleys. As he waits for another major surgery, his son Jim Nathan Carado is also admitted to Valencia Hospital in the Philippines. His vision has not entirely returned, and the fungal infection has reached his heart. Mr. Jimmy, as he is fondly called by his colleagues and friends, has been working in Thailand for over 20 years. The family’s savings have been depleted with his prolonged hospitalization and his son’s unexpected hospital admission in the Philippines.
