Get “Moo Daeng” during Songkran week

If you are travelling to Thailand between April 11 to 17, passengers may receive a cute Moo Daeng plush keepsake from the Airports of Thailand (AOT).

In a The Nation report, the giveaway is part of a series of Songkran celebrations at the airport. Aside from the Moo Daeng plushies, Thai cultural performances and festive gifts await incoming passengers through Suvarnabhumi Airport. “The activities are aimed at creating a warm and joyful atmosphere for travellers during Thailand’s most significant festival”, the article says.

President of the Airports of Thailand (AOT) Kirati Kitmanawat said that the initiative is “designed to make passengers’ journeys vibrant, memorable and filled with smiles”. “Songkran is a meaningful festival for Thai people and a wonderful opportunity to showcase Thai culture and identity to visitors from around the world.”

Suvarnabhumi Airport is expected to welcome 1.3 million passengers during the Songkran week. Enhanced security measures, special traffic and flight management systems are in place for smooth operations during this busy time of celebrations.
