According to the PHL Embassy in Bangkok, the Overseas Voting Mailing Packets of the registered overseas voters have been mailed to their respective addresses.
There are a total of 6,121 Filipinos who registered in Thailand eligible to vote from April 9 to May 9, 2016, based on COMELEC’s Certified List of Overseas Voters.
The Embassy reminds voters to check the contents of the Overseas Voting Mailing Packets, and read thoroughly the voting instructions.
Registered voters can send their Return Envelopes to the Embassy by mail or they can drop the return envelopes inside the ballot boxes at the Embassy.
Voting ends at 5:00 pm (Philippine time) on May 9, 2016 and ballots should reach the Philippine Embassy by 4:00 pm (Bangkok time) on May 9, 2016.
