Central Western Union Agent won the 2017 Western Union Agent Network of the Year. The award was given on May 4, 2018 in recognition of its outstanding performance.
Three Central Western Union locations also received other special awards based on transaction growth marketing activities, and excellent service quality such as WUSTAR 2017 The Best Location Award (Robinson Sukhumvit), Philippines Outbound Star Award (Central Power Center Huamark) and Myanmar Outbound Star Award (Central Rama 2).
Atish Shrestha, Regional Director – Indochina, Western Union presented the Agent Network of the Year award to Montri Sithiyavanich, head of Financial Services, Central Group and Kanyaporn Panich, vice president of Financial Product Development, Central Group.
Central is the first Western Union agent in Thailand. Aside from over the counter transactions, WU customers can also send money direct to their bank in the Philippines.
