After the Philippines had won the Miss Universe title, another pinay beauty bagged the Miss Tourism World 2019 Intercontinental. The Philippines’ bet Francesca Taruc was crowned Miss Tourism World 2019 Intercontinental Final on Tuesday night in Nanjing, China.

Representatives of Tatarstan and Ukraine were named first and second runner-up, respectively.

Taruc, who hails from Angeles City, Pampanga, was also given a special award “Best Body” during the preliminary round of the pageant.

She represented the country at the Miss Freedom of the World 2018 held in Kosovo last July 2018.

The beauty queen graduated with a Mass Communications degree at the Holy Angel University (HUA) in Pampanga.
