A new book inspired by the sacrifices of the overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) will be launched on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at the Grand Menseng Hotel in Davao City.
“Alab – The Awakening of Filipino Nationalism” compiles the various inspirational stories, success stories and pictures from OFWs who voluntarily sacrificed and supported President Rodrigo Roa-Duterte worldwide.
The book also includes the biography of President Duterte, a timeline during his years as mayor of Davao city until his presidency, the highlights of the campaign period, and the OFW “components” to the movement and its victory and vision.
“You will be amazed with the heartbreaking stories, why they are strongly supporting the Duterte Administration and pledge to protect him until the end of his administration,” described by one reader.
The book is endorsed by Sara “Inday” Duterte-Carpio, daughter of President Rodrigo Duterte.
The book sells for 500THB (includes shipping fee) and can be ordered online through Cecilia Fookiat, Jay Lyn Roma and Rachelle Crowley on Facebook. Proceeds will go to the Cancer Patients fund in Davao City.
