Ateneo’s ALSE Program to hold orientation on February 24

Ateneo Leadership and Social Entrepreneurship (ALSE) will hold its first pre-meeting and orientation on Sunday, February 24 at Hotel Vista Express in Pratunam (Phetchburi 19).

ALSE Orientation will start at 4:00 pm in one of the hotels owned by Mrs Zenaida Vannaying who is also a member of the ALSE Bangkok Secretariat. The best way to get to the venue is to take the BTS Ratchathewi Station and walk or BTS Chidlom and pass through the skywalk from there to Plantinum then cross up to Soi Phetchburi 19.

As of writing, a total of 42 OFW students have already registered. The group is targeting 50 registrants.

The 12-day empowerment program which is designed for overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) will focus on areas of leadership, financial literacy and social entrepreneurship. Classes will start on March 17 at the International Conference Room of the University’s Faculty of Education. The said program is under Ateneo School of Government (ASoG) of Ateneo de Manila University.

Here is the provision schedule of the program which will run from March to September 2019.  

Registration is still open to those who are interested to join the program. Graduates will receive an Ateneo certificate and will be accepted by the university as alumni.
