Award-winning author Anette Pollner led a pool of creative amateurs and professional writers during the first session of a writing workshop themed “For the Love of Writing” organized by Bangkok Writers Workshops on Saturday, January 30 at Antique Cafe, Sukhumvit 31/3.
The workshop is a series of connected workshops for three consecutive Saturdays from January 30 to February 13 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm. Each session focuses on a certain topic that will invigorate writing passion and hone writing skills even more. Below are the topics:
January 30 – ‘How to start up your writing every single day’
February 6 – ‘Overcoming procrastination’
February 13 – ‘Love and commitment – writing is a passion’
Ms. Pollner, who also serves as the workshop leader, is an award winning novelist and creative non-fiction author whose stories have been published in the US, the UK and South East Asia. Her workshops on ‘Creative Writing from the Unconscious Mind’ have taught many writers at all stages of their career about the ‘Daily Practice of the Empty Page’, to acquire a new way to write more productively and reconnect to their love of writing.
