A fundraising concert has been set in Pattaya on August 21, 2016 to help fund the operation of an Overseas Filipino Worker who can no longer walk due to an illness.
Mr. Roman Navarro, who works as a musician, was diagnosed with avascular necrosis which is the death of bone tissue due to a lack of blood supply. As a result, he can no longer stand and walk without the help of other people or by using a staff.
Due to his condition, Navarro can no longer work and just stays at home. He has two young children who live with him and his wife.
Dubbed as “Jam for a Cause”, the benefit concert will help fund his operation with an estimated cost of 300,000 baht. The concert will be held at Sopar Reggae Bar on Walking Street on August 21 at 6:00 pm. Ticket costs 350 baht.
