Cebu Pacific to launch Manila-Bangkok via Don Mueang Airport in July

Starting July 16, 2024, air travelers from Manila to Thailand will have more options as low-cost carrier Cebu Pacific (CEB) announced the launch of its new route NAIA-Don Mueang Airport (DMK) providing travelers with more flexibility when planning their trips in the Southeast Asian region.

Departing from NAIA Terminal 3 in Manila, the new service will operate three times a week: Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.

“Bangkok remains one of the most popular destinations in Southeast Asia, with its majestic pagodas, flavorful cuisine and vibrant cultural festivals,” acknowledged by CEB President Xander Lao in a statement.

The DMK route brings the Gokongwei-led airline’s total flights between Manila and Bangkok to 17 per week. Currently, it flies between Manila and Bangkok via Suvarnabhumi Airport twice daily.

As of the writing, only low-cost carrier AirAsia currently flies to Don Mueang from the Philippines.

Lao emphasized the airline’s commitment to “continuously provide accessible and affordable air travel”. CEB launched its maiden service between Manila and Bangkok in 2006. Aside from Manila, CEB also flies daily to Bangkok via Clark.
