“Dance to Help” organized for pinoy teacher’s long-term dialysis

A “Dance to Help” event will be conducted on November 3 at GYM+ Samrong, 5th floor of Imperial World Samrong. Proceeds will go to a Filipino teacher in Samut Prakan who has been diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) Stage 5.

After a month of observation, 39-year old Filipino teacher Robert Nunez was advised by his doctors to take a long-term dialysis for his kidney disease. CKD Stage 5 means kidneys have lost nearly all their ability to do their job effectively and eventually dialysis or a kidney transplant is needed to live.

Nunez first came to Thailand in 2012 and started working as a teacher. However, he had to go back in 2014 for about two years due to some other medical conditions. Then in July, the death of his father had caused so much stress and he started vomiting.

Nunez had gone back to the Philippines last week for his operation and began his dialysis. He is single and the family is in need of additional funds to support his medication.

Everyone is invited to join the “DANCE TO HELP” event on Sunday, November 3 at 6:00pm. Proceeds will go to Nunez’s dialysis and medications. Ticket costs 100 baht.
