Direct Hotline to the Prime Minister

Prime Minister and Defense Minister General Prayut Chan-o-cha has instructed the serious and continual suppression of illegal acts, especially those involving gambling dens and smuggling of workers, which have caused the new wave of local COVID-19 transmission.

He stated that the Government would establish a committee to monitor the operations of public officials with regard to their involvement in these issues.

People in each locality have also been encouraged to provide tip-offs or additional insights regarding the issues through direct contact with the Prime Minister via the following five channels:

1) Government Hotline 1111 (around the clock);

2) P.O. Box 1111 (Government House);

3) Website: www.1111.go.th;

4) Mobile Application PSC 1111; and

5) 1111 public service point at Government House.

The Prime Minister gave his assurance that whistle blowers would be provided with protection and their information would be kept confidential.

He said that the Government attached great importance to cracking down on illegal acts and tightening controls on the spread of COVID-19.

He also thanked the people for their cooperation with the Government in containing COVID-19 transmission and monitoring the situation to prevent and suppress illegal activities.
