Family of OFW who died in Chainat asks for help in repatriating his remains

The family of OFW Roylan Rivera is appealing to the community for help in repatriating his remains.

Rivera, 37, died due to multiple organ failure on Novermber 25 in Chainat Province. He was taken to the hospital on November 13 and got discharged on November 19. However, he was rushed to the hospital again just one day after due to difficulty in breathing. 

He had no relatives in Thailand. He was taken care of by his friends and colleagues in school. His family had not seen him for years and asked the community to extend some more financial help so they could see his body one last time. 

Kabayan Roylan hailed from Sta Maria, Bulacan. He worked in Thailand for almost ten years.

Rae Marvi  is one of Roylan’s friends helping and coordinating with the family in the Philippines. The next Bangkok-Manila flight will be on December 2 via Philippines Airlines.

The family already informed the Philippine Embassy in Bangkok and the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) in Manila.
