3 Filipinos test positive with COVID-19 in Bangkok, ask for help

The family of three Filipinos infected with coronavirus (COVID-19) in Bangkok is asking for help.

In a post on Facebook group Pinoys Helping Pinoys (Thailand), Graceymar Sotnas said OFW Roger De Castro got infected with COVID-19 and his entire family is now in the hospital.

Arlene Gabuya is De Castro’s relative in Bangkok. The Filipina who posted is the teacher of the De Castro’s children.

According to Sotnas, De Castro tested positive on Tuesday. He was initially taken to the ICU but is now in stable condition in Chulalongkorn Hospital. 

Eventually his wife who is pregnant and their 9 year-old daughter also tested positive. There are 6 members in their household. Roger’s  mother and his 2 other children were tested negative, said Sotnas who was informed by the family at around 10:20 AM.

Meanwhile, their whole house has already been disinfected. The family lives on Pridi Banumyong soi 46. 

His case has already been reported to the Philippine Embassy.
