Overwork and fatigue has taken a huge toll on one Filipino teacher in Bangkok. PinoyThaiyo reports with a heavy heart that Josh Lagasca, also known as Josh Lertkunakorn on Facebook, succumbed to pneumonia yesterday February 28.
This news was confirmed after Mrs. Josephine Jamilla Lagasca, Josh’s mother, posted a heart-wrenching post using Josh’s Facebook profile informing his passing.
“Maganding gabi po. Mommy ito ni Josh…Ipinapaalam ko lang po sa lahat ng friends and relatives na iniwan na tsyo [sic] ng mabait kong anak. Hiling kop o sa inyong lahat ay prayer para sa kanyang katahimikan. Me and Dad, Kuya RJ Ate Cyn Waky and Koreen love you so much. Rest in peace anak.”
Josh was admitted at Nopparat Rajathanee Hospital on the first week of February due to pleurisy, a medical condition where the chest and lung tissues are inflamed and causes difficulty in breathing.
However, the medical expenses are yet to be cleared. There is still 112,000 THB after insurance that is still needed to be settled. While speaking to PinoyThaiyo, the family is also planning to cremate Josh’s remains and bring back the ashes back the soonest possible time. If you still wish to send any financial help to the family of Josh in this time of bereavement, kindly send them to the account mentioned below.
