A Filipina died on Monday, December 19, 2016 at Somdej Hospital in Sriracha.
Mrs. Teresita Andoy, 58, succumbed to stage 5 Chronic Kidney Disease. She was admitted to the hospital on October 19, 2016 and stayed there where she also suffered from cardiac arrest which led to comatose. Prior to her death, Andoy was already relying on ventilator for breathing and was having dialysis twice a week.
On November 27, OFW Quickservants United for Duterte president Ms. Nelly Palpallatoc wrote letters to the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) and Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) informing them of Andoy’s medical condition and asked for repatriation and financial assistance. However, Andoy passed away while the documents were still being completed.
The Philippine Embassy in Thailand has already been notified of Andoy’s passing.
PinoyThaiyo, OFW Quickservants and the rest of the Filipino community in Thailand condole with the family of Mrs. Andoy.
