Two Filipino mixed martial artists won their fights at One Champion’s CLASH OF LEGENDS at Impact Arena in Muang Thong Thani on Saturday, February 16.
Team Lakay’s Gina Iniong has beaten the undefeated Jihin Radzuan of Malaysia. The 29-year old Iniong is from Baguio City. She was cheered by an army of Filipinos who chanted her name during the fight. She won in a split decision.

Meanwhile, another Filipino fighter Mark Abelardo fought under a New Zealand flag. The Filipino-Kiwi knocked down Daichi Takenaka of Japan on the third round.

At least 500 Filipinos came to watch the event. Jezreel Llanera of PinoyThaiyo is one of the promoters of last Saturday’s One Championship event.
