Flight update: PAL cancels April 14 MNL-BKK-MNL flight

Philippine Airlines (PAL) MNL-BKK-MNL flight on April 14 has been cancelled, posted PAL on its Facebook page.

“We are compelled to cancel and/or re-route some international and domestic flights in the coming weeks to comply with ongoing Philippine government restrictions that: (1) limit the number of international passenger arrivals at Manila airport to 1,500 a day for all airlines combined until 8:00 AM of April 19; (2) suspend inbound travel to Western Visayas (Region 6) from Manila, Cebu and Davao until April 10; and (3)  restrict non-essential travel in and out of Manila during the current Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) period”, said PAL.

The status of the April 21 flight is under evaluation and hopefully that the travel ban will be lifted so there can be more allocation at Manila airport.

Currently, May 5 flight is fully booked and the next available flight is on May 12, 19 and 26.

For assistance on ticket rebooking, you may follow the email sent to you  by PAL, email ticket@palbkk.com, add LINE pinoythaiyo or contact your travel agent.

Meanwhile, Thai Airways will also have a flight on May 6, 13 & 20. THAI’s Bangkok-Manila next flight on April 22 is already fully booked as they’re only allowed 40 passengers per flight in Manila. You can book through their website or contact Bangkok Vista Holiday.
