Identification card (ID) for Filipinos residing in Upper Northern Thailand can be obtained at the Philippine Consulate in Chiang Mai.
To obtain a new ID, you are required to submit the following:
- An up-to-date Consulate Registration form that must be clearly written or typed in. Particularly, emergency contacts’ name and telephone number preferably both in Thailand and in the Philippines should also be stated;
- A recent color photo on white background with name written in the back or in JPEG file with name written as file name;
- Contribution of THB 60.00 per ID is on voluntary basis.
The Consulate consolidates the list of data and photos for ID issuance until 15th of each month. EMS will be utilized for order of group of more than 5 persons, otherwise, individuals must arrange to pick up at the Consulate, the Consulate said in a Facebook post.
