LIST: Richest and poorest PH Senators according to 2016 SALN

Curious who among the Philippine senators made it in the richest list? Well, according to the latest statements of assets, liabilities and networth (SALN), Senator Cynthia Villar ranked at the top with P3,606,034,556. Closing in at second place goes to fighting-champ Senator Manny Pacquiao at P3,072,315,030. Part of the top 5 includes Senator Ralph Recto,  Senator Sonny Angara and Senator Juan Miguel Zubiri.

Two billionaires and 22 multi-millionaires comprise the 24-seated senate, all reported in the 2016 SALN report. Lagging behind at the bottom half are Senator Risa Hontiveros (P16,332,852.70), Senator Francis Pangilinan (P9,288,108.84), detained Senator Leila de Lima (P6,617,635.62) and Senator Francis Escudero (P6,602,082.09).

Finishing last and considered to be the poorest among the 24 senators is Senator Antonio Trillianes IV who has a networth of P6,506,672.13.
