After a series of food tasting events, Lola’s Kitchen, a sophisticated Filipino restaurant across from the Philippine Embassy on Sukhumvit soi 49 will open Friday, January 31.
Lola’s Kitchen is owned by successful Filipino entrepreneur Mrs Zenaida Vannaying and her family. The restaurant is founded to bring back and celebrate the memories of Lola Carolina, Mrs Vannaying’s late mother who also opened a Filipino restaurant in Bangkok many years ago to serve their Filipino customers.
Traditional home-cooked Pinoy cuisine will be available to the public starting Friday. Lola’s Kitchen is located across from the Philippine Embassy near the Broccoli Revolution at Sukhumvit 49.
