At least two more Filipinos have received the 10,000 PHP DOLE-AKAP for OFWs.
The two OFWs are both working in Satun, south of Thailand. They are Desiree Aguilar and Mariou Laureta whose applications were processed by their mothers in the Philippines. Aguilar and Laureta are currently in Thailand. The 10,000 PHP money assistance were sent via ML KWARTA PADALA to their beneficiaries (their mothers) in the Philippines.
This is how Aguilar was able to get her DOLE-AKAP.
Magandang hapon. Ako po ay may gustong ishare regarding sa 10k cash assistance. Pwde po maka-avail pero ang pera po ay marereceived sa pilipinas via ML KWARTA PADALA (hindi po kagaya sa mga bansang may POLO office personal po nila nakukuha ang pera)
Una po hindi po natin maoopen ang link ng dole-akap dito sa Thailand dahil walang link from polo office na sana meron tayo dito.
Pano po maka avail?
Kung sino po na marunong sa internet sa pilipinas po na kamag-anak nyo. Sakin po dahil mother ko na lang po at ako at hindi po marunong mother ko. Pinsan ko po ang pina apply ko sa website. Syempre lahat po ng details sakin.. sa first page po representative po mother ko pinalagay ko. May iask po silang bank account number kung gusto nyo po dun ipasend. Pero sa ML KWARTA PADALA pa din po nila isesend yung pera.
Sa 2nd page kailagan na po ang nga proof na OFW po talaga kayo. Isa lang pong image/pdf file ang pwde nyo pong iinsert jan.
Sa proof of loss of employment ang ginawa ko po is letter. Ako na po ang gumawa ng letter at pinasa ko po sa employer ko para gawing formal letter. Yun po ang pinasa ko jan.
Dahil po nde ako nakauwi. Need pa din po ang proof na nakauwi kayo sa pinas. tinry po namin skip ang step na yan pero nde kame makaproceed sa next step. So pinalagay ko po ang itenerary ko (March 24 po sana ako uwi, pero un ung mga panahon na nagdeclare ng ECQ si digong kaya nde na po ako tumuloy umuwi)
so un po after po ng mga fill up then submit. ok na po yun. automatic po may email sila na nareceived nila ung application.
May 16 po may nareceived po mother kong txt from ML kwarta padala na ready for pick up na po ang 10k.
At least po may pera po si mother habang MECQ pa po samin.
On May 9, Bangkok-based OFW Jhuden Lacatan received 10,000 PHP assistance via money transfer. She said she had applied online for DOLE AKAP on April 13 and received the confirmation on April 14. Lacatan is still in the Philippines where she filed the application.
Lacatan went back to the Philippines for a holiday on February 8. Her work permit and Non B visa is valid until November 2020.
Meanwhile, another Bangkok-based OFW said he received a call from a DOLE evaluator who told him that his application is now being evaluated. According to him, his application was denied when he first submitted it online. However he followed it up on OWWA almost daily to get their help.
