More than 100 Embassies and Consulates participated in the “10th Celebration of Silk: Thai Silk Road to the World 2020” on Sunday, December 6 at the Royal Navy Convention Hall, Bangkok.
Prime Minister Gen. Prayuth Chan-o-cha and Deputy Prime Minister Dr. Wissanu Krea-nagam opened the event.
Ambassadors and Embassy officials and representatives graced the runway wearing Thai silk designed by Thai students, mostly from vocational and public colleges in the province.
The Philippines was represented by Consuls Michael Lyndon Garcia and Beatriz Inez Herrera-Davila. Embassy officials led by Charges d’affaires Mary Anne Padua were also present.
