Most hotels may have everything you need. But there are moments when you feel that something is missing. That being said, there is no better feeling when you stay in a hotel that makes you feel you didn’t leave home at all.
Located in the heart of Chiang Rai City two blocks away from the famous Saturday walking market, Nak Nakara Hotel lives up to my kind of accommodation. They have friendly, responsive and helpful staff. These best qualities among staff are what the customers expect and commend in a hotel. And since they are the first point of contact, they define what kind of hotel they work at.
The rooms at Nak Nakara are decorated with modern Lanna style in vibrant colours, each air-conditioned room comes with a satellite TV, a mosquito net and a refrigerator. An en suite bathroom is equipped with a shower and a hair dryer.
They have a clean and nice pool with plenty of chairs. The grounds are beautifully decorated with plants and flowers. There’s a uniquely-designed bar in the lobby with comfortable chairs to sit on. They also have free Wi-Fi and massage services if you want to relax to the fullest.
Apart from Saturday market, the hotel is a 5-minute walk to Po Khun Meng Rai Monument. The night bazaar as well as Chiang Rai Bus Terminal are just 5-minute ride away, while Chiang Rai Airport can be reached within a 15-minute ride.
Nak Nakara offers Western, Thai, and native Lanna foods to satisfy your tummy. And if you fancy eating outside, there’s a bunch of local restaurants within a 5-minute walk from the hotel. Everything is available at your convenience!
My one night stay at Nak Nakara will be remembered forever as I was able to enjoy the charm of the city and beyond.
