One of the main organizations that has been helping repatriated Filipinos from Thailand and many other countries to the Philippines is running for a party list seat in congress.
AKO OFW was founded by Dr. Chie Umandap, former OWWA Board of Trustee for Land-based OFW who has been an OFW advocate for almost two decades. Umandap was a long time OFW in the Middle East.
AKO OFW is pushing for an OFW hospital, pension plan, advisory council in every barangay, discount benefit and guidance office for OFW children among many other advocacies.
It has been a reliable partner of PinoyThaiyo in helping distressed kababayan in the kingdom.
