Her flight was on September 14 via Philippine Airlines together with her family. While in the taxi on the way to the airport for their domestic flight to Bangkok, the hospital where they had their RT-PCR test called and told them there was a problem with the result.
One of them tested positive and the rest needed to be quarantined. A negative RT-PCR test taken 48 hours within the flight is a requirement for Bayanihan flights from Bangkok to Manila.
Their flight was rebooked by PAL for free early October, presumably after completing their 14-day recuperation and quarantine. The family is going home for good and just completing their visa.
However this kababayan died on Friday, September 17. Her husband, daughter and other companion are still in quarantine as of posting.
Rest in peace kabayan.
PinoyThaiyo extends its deepest sympathies and condolences to the bereaved family.
This is a developing story. More details to follow.
