ALSE is a 12-day empowerment program designed for overseas Filipino workers to equip them in areas of financial literacy, leadership and social entrepreneurship. The program has been going on for ten years in 16 different cities across Asia and Europe.

Classes will start on August 30 at St. Gabriel’s Foundation Building, the headquarters of one of Thailand’s oldest and most respected private schools which includes Assumption University. Last year, classes were held at Chulalongkorn University.

This year’s partners include Department of Trade and Industry – Bangkok Office, Philippine Airlines, Saint Robert’s Group of Companies, Akara Hotel, Lola’s Kitchen, Viva Filipinas and PinoyThaiyo. The Secretariat which will help facilitate the program includes some of ALSE Bangkok founders and last year’s graduates/alumni.

ALSE also led the “Bayanihan in Thailand” for Filipinos affected by COVID-19 and raised at least 300,000 THB cash and goods.
