The Philippine Embassy in Bangkok, Thailand wishes to inform the Filipino community of the decision of the Commission on Elections En Banc to extend the period for overseas voting (OV) registration until 14 October 2021.
All qualified Filipino citizens are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to register and vote in the 2022 National Elections by filing their applications for registration at the Embassy. Requests for appointment may be sent to bangkok.pe@dfa.gov.ph. Please book your appointments early to avoid the long queue and delays towards the end of the registration period.
Those with existing appointments for consular services may proceed to the OV registration counter for registration, reactivation or updating of overseas voting records without prior OV registration appointment.
Please note that walk-in applicants will not be entertained in keeping with physical distancing requirements to help prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
On the last day of registration on 14 October 2021, the OV registration counter will close at 6:00PM.
