2.2 million SSS Filipino pensioners will rejoice starting March 3, 2017 as Pres. Duterte approved the release of additional PHP1,000 monthly pension hike.
SSS President and Chief Executive Officer Emmanuel Dooc said in a press statement last Thursday that the additional pension increase for the months of February and March will be released on the 10th and 17th of March.
About P2.04 billion has been already deposited in the bank accounts of its pensioners and will be available for withdrawal on the said dates.
President Rodrigo Duterte has approved the release of the P1,000 monthly increment for retirees, survivors and permanent and partial disability pensioners.
An estimated P6.9 billion has been allotted for the first quarter release to over 2.2 million members.
