The extension of validity for machine-readable passports (MRP) and ePassports will be free of charge until December 2015, said the Philippine Embassy in Bangkok.
In a statement released on September 28, Vice Consul Jim Gabrillo Minglana said:
“The Embassy advises all concerned Filipinos in Thailand that the extension of validity of passports (for machine-readable passports or MRP and ePassports) is granted free of charge (gratis) until the last working day of December 2015.”
VC Minglana is also the Head of Consular Section of the Philippine Embassy in Thailand.
“Regular rates apply beginning the first working day of 2016,” the statement added.
