Honorary Consul Agkarajit Phanomvan na Ayudhya of the Philippine Consulate in Chiang Mai is inviting the Filipino community in the upper north of Thailand to a gathering on Friday, August 12, 2016 at 2:00 pm in Fern Forest Cafe, 54, Singharat 4 Alley, Si Phum, Chiang Mai.
Updates on the kingdom’s reformation, prospects and current laws that may have impact on Filipinos living in Thailand will be discussed at the said meeting. A presentation on the current laws and legal rights of foreign nationals will also be presented by a practicing lawyer and lecturer, the Consul said in an announcement on social media.
As for teachers who composed the 60 percent of Filipinos in Thailand, the Honorary Consul will share his thoughts on education and his discussions with Assistant Secretary of Education.
