Filipino taekwondo player Angela Joy Marie Bermejo is going home with two gold medals, one silver and bronze. Bermejo successfully competed at the 9th Tirak Taekwondo International Championship 2019 in Bangkok on October 26.
Bermejo is a 9th grade student in St. Robert’s International Academy (SRIA) in Iloilo City.
9th Tirak Taekwondo International Championship 2019 was participated in by taekwondo players from 26 countries. It was also known as Her Majesty the Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother of Thailand’s Challenge Cup.
Angela Joy Marie Bermejo won in the following categories.
GOLD – Flyweight Division Kyorugi
GOLD – During the Special Match Kyorugi
SILVER – Individual Poomsae
BRONZE – Mixed Pair Poomsae
