Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) Malaysia will start sending the 200 USD one-time financial assistance to Thai banks of OFWs affected by COVID-19 in Thailand, said POLO Kuala Lumpur in their latest email.
The one Bangkok-based OFW who received 5,066 THB last month was just a trial to check the exact amount in Thai baht that should be transferred, according to the said OFW who has directly communicated with POLO Malaysia about the transfer.
It can be remembered that POLO Kuala Lumpur had opened the application on May 22 and closed it after getting 350 applications on May 27.
