Sea of Sunflowers in December!

Are you thinking of getting out and about in Thailand this coming December? If so, some of you might have seen pictures of your friends with a sea of sunflowers behind them and wonder where in the world is this place! Once a year, they have sunflower farms popping up in the eastern parts of Thailand. Entrance fees can range from free and up.

One of the popular places you can go to is Jim Thompson Farm. This farm is over 600 rai in Payaprab Mountain in Takob Sub-District. In 1988, it started out as a source to get silkworms from their mulberry plantation. In 2001, they opened for public. Once a year, around December to early January, the public can go visit this farm. This year, their opening dates are December 7, 2019 to January 5, 2020.
