Philippine Airlines has been named by Skytrax as the 2019 World’s Most Improved Airline. Included among the top 10 most improved airlines were: (2) British Airways, (3) Malaysia Airlines, (4) Fiji Airways, (5) Royal Brunei Airlines, (6) Gulf Air, (7) United Airlines, (8) Air Mauritius, (9) LEVEL, and (10) Spirit Airlines.
According to Skytrax, “The World’s Most Improved Airline award reflects an airline’s Quality improvement across the entire Awards programme, which analyses an airline’s change in the global rating, and performance improvements in different award categories.”
Philippine Airlines also improved its rating in the 2019 World’s Top 100 Airlines, from 49th place in 2018, PAL has moved up to 30th. While Qatar Airways replaced Singapore Airlines as the World’s Top Airline. Singapore Airlines slid to number 2 followed by ANA All Nippon Airways, Cathay Pacific Airways, and Emirates.
