The SM Development Corporation Thailand Team will hold a weekly Financial Literacy Training for Filipinos in Thailand starting December 20 in Central Bangkok. Free financial coaching will also be given to those interested.
The said meet-and-greet/training aims to educate Overseas Filipino WOrkers (OFW) on how they can properly spend and save their money while working abroad. It is estimated that there are more than 100,000 Filipinos in Thailand, and only 16,000 are officially registered according to the Philippine Embassy.
