Christopher John Parafina, an English teacher in Rayong is seeking help from the Filipino Community for his ailing mother who has been confined for more than a week now.
His mom, Mrs Georgina Parafina, 72, has developed blood clot in her brain and has got infection in her lungs among other illnesses.
“Si mama po ay nagkablood clot po sa brain due to bump on her head po. Then may infection din cya sa lungs kaya ngayun ay naka breathing support pa din cya. Meron din po cya anemia kaya nag blood transfusion din cya para maibalik ang normal blood level nya. 2 years ago po kasi nagkasaket din cya ng acute gastritis and she vomitted a lot of blood. Duon kami nagtagal din sa hospital almost 2 mos po. When she got better we brought her dito sa Rayong,” said Christopher.
As of now, the bill is more than 60,000 baht not including doctor’s fee.
The Filipino Association in Rayong Thailand (FARTH) is also doing fundraising activities to help the Parafina family. They are from Antipolo City.
