A group of Filipino community leaders together with Bangkok Vista Holiday Co., Ltd. and its sister company in the Philippines is arranging a Special Chartered Flight from Manila to Bangkok for OFWs who want to return to Thailand and continue working.
If there is enough number of passengers, a tentative flight can be arranged as soon as Thailand issues Certificate of Entry (COE) to foreign nationals with Work Permit. At least 165 passengers are needed to make this flight possible. If there is a sufficient number, Bangkok Vista Holiday Co., Ltd. (MANILA OFFICE) will contact/email the registrants for the next steps. On 25 June 2020, Bangkok Vista Holiday Co., Ltd. successfully arranged a Special Chartered Flight from Bangkok to Manila.
The Filipina owner of Bangkok Vista Holiday Co., Ltd. also has hotels in Bangkok and Pattaya (Akara Bangkok, Hotel Vista Pattaya and Vista Express Bangkok) which can possibly be used for the mandatory quarantine at a cheaper cost and flexible payment scheme.
This initiative is being led by Mrs. Zenaida Vannaying, PinoyThaiyo and Chulalongkorn University Nonthaburi Project (CUNP) Coordinator Jaycee Dilan.
This community initiative is also subject to the grant of flight clearances and permits from the Philippine and Thai governments with proper coordination with the Philippine Embassy in Bangkok.
